The Flash returns tonight on Sky 1
Straight from across the pond, sci-fi fantasy series The Flash resumes from its mid-season break tonight from 8:00pm. Exclusive to Sky only, The Flash follows the high-speed adventures of the fastest man alive.
Central City Police scientist Barry Allen has been standing still emotionally since the day his mother was murdered and his father unjustly jailed for the crime. But when an unexpected and devastating accident at the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator facility strikes Barry, he finds himself suddenly charged with the incredible power to move at super speeds.
Barry sets out to use his newfound superhero powers to stop crime. Working alongside his adopted father Detective West, Barry uses his superhuman abilities to help the people of Central City and stop the rogues’ gallery of villains, many of whom have also been altered by the particle accelerator explosion.

Just 48 hours after their respective derby day clashes, Spurs travel to Liverpool in what could be a testing game between two teams desperate to reach the Champions League places this year.
Fresh from their enthralling victory over bitter rivals Arsenal, Tottenham led by in-form Harry Kane will be keen to cement their recent run with a tough trip to Anfield. The Merseyside club themselves just had a tough clash with local rivals Everton which ended in a drab nil-nil so both teams have an aded incentive to win for differing reasons.
Spurs’ form against Liverpool in recent seasons has been poor, with 15 goals shipped at an alarming rate over the course of four defeats; something head coach Mauricio Pochettino will be eager to address with a repeat display of their Sunday performance that shows a dominant and aggressive approach that Arsenal succumbed to.
Liverpool’s form has been indifferent since the departure of controversial striker Luis Suarez however, with the return of injury prone frontman Daniel Sturridge, they have a goalscorer who can trouble most defences. The Merseysiders are however, not without additional injury woes.
Raheem Sterling will miss the game with a foot injury whilst, Lucas is ruled out after injuring his thigh, but Adam Lallana could return and Philippe Coutinho should be fit for selection.
Spurs have the rare luxury of a fairly injury free, fully-sit squad so if there was ever a time to put a poor record straight, now might be the time.
