Find the Entertainment You Want, Quickly & Easily
Sky Q enables you to find what you want faster and easier using “Voice Search”. To take advantage of “Voice Search”, your Sky Q box will need to be connected to an active broadband connection and a paired Sky Q Touch Remote control.
To get started using “Voice Search”, firstly hold the remote in front of you whilst pressing and holding the “Voice” button on the right-hand edge of the remote and speak clearly into the microphone located just below the Sky button on the front of the remote. When you have finished speaking, release the “Voice” button.
For example, if you want to watch the hit US television series Billions, simply hold the remote in front of you, press and hold the “Voice” button and say the word “Billions” clearly, then release the button. Your Sky Q box should then load up the options on screen.
The great thing about voice search is it allows you to explore and find what you want to watch quickly, without having the trawl through dozens of unfamiliar menu screens.
So if you fancy watching a movie, whether by title or genre, you can simple say the title of the movie you like or the genre, such as “Comedy Movies” into your remote and your Sky Q box will do the rest.
If you’re a sports fanatic, you can simply say the sport you like such as “Golf” or if you have a favourite football team like “Liverpool” or a sporting event, just say it into your remote and Sky Q will find the content for you.
You may even perhaps want to find out what sporting events are coming up to plan ahead such as “Live on This Weekend”. It really is that easy!
